Senior Placement Specialist
As the owner of Mom’s New Pad, Millie is a ‘placement’ specialist offering all services related to a change in residence that many older adults, and their families, face. She ushers older adults through the decision-making, selection and transition of moving from their home with expertise, efficiency and ease. With the elder or family member, she identifies the most suitable, safe, and socially-rewarding environment. Once the new home is identified, she walks the family through the moving process.
Millie brings an unusual set of experiences required to guide her clients through the mountain of information and options available. With 15 years in senior living, and 20 years of real estate, Millie has helped hundreds of people choose a new home.
Most importantly, Millie has been through nearly all the steps with the quintessential life-guide, her own mother. “Throughout the last 10 years of her life, my mom inadvertently guided me into senior living, which turned into a passion and career for me, without even knowing it. What a gift!”
Millie is Past President of the Rotary Club of Terra Linda, a volunteer with Marin Villages, the Alzheimer’s Association, Rotaplast International, member of the Marin Section on Aging. Besides her interest in community service, she enjoys the outdoors. She is a native Californian and resides in Sonoma County with two engaging kitties.
