N.E.W. of Marin supports local charity, Canal Alliance's YOUTH Leadership Group - Girls Speak Out:
Canal Alliance is a comprehensive community resource center that develops self-sufficiency and leadership in Marin’s low-income immigrant populations through access to health and social services, youth development, economic security, and citizenship. [Site: http://www.canalalliance.org/]
Girls Speak Out is composed of thirteen (13) middle school girls from Davidson Middle School. This year we are focusing on building self-esteem and healthy, positive relationships. The girls are encouraged to talk through things that are bothering them and to support one another.
Networking Entrepreneurial Women of Marin' supports the business growth of its members through networking and education.
